Healthcare Executives-Take a systems approach to Healthcare Disaster Readiness
I attached a briefing that I think will help healthcare leaders take a “Systems Approach” to preparing healthcare organizations for future disasters and Public Health Emergencies.
The notion, that preparing for disasters is actually a great opportunity to dust off many systems in the hospital,and - in the end - it usually turns out to be a cost-effective exercise for the entire system, is underappreciated. I think it needs to be explored and proven with actual data, because it may well be a turning point for many decision makers. Pinny Halpern
